Rachelle and Colby Thackeray!

My sister and her boyfriend of 6 years got married! They have been engaged for 2 years now and so I have been patiently waiting. She has had about 15 different ideas of where and when they were going to tie the knot so I am glad it is now official. And I am so happy for them, they make such a wonderful couple and I love them both so much. Colby's sister and I decided to set them up and I am so glad we did, they go together great.

The wedding was on Tuesday October 12th in Boulder, Co. It was so neat to be able to travel with both families and have a get away with the two of them. My sister looked beautiful and the whole trip was so much fun. I love them both and am happy to have them in our family!

Our crazy fun life!

I know it has been FOREVER! We don't have internet at home so I never have time to do this blog anymore, so now that I have a min, I'll try and catch everyone up on our very fast changing lives lately... Tons of pictures so hopefully I can get them all on here tonight.

Everyone should know by now but if not I am pregnant!!! We found out baby is a little boy! We are both very excited! I knew from the beginning it was a boy but I still bawled all day when we found out for sure, I had my heart set on a girl. Now that I have thought about it, a boy doesn't sound so bad after all. I grew up with only sisters and have never really been around little boys too much so they seem kinda foreign to me Lol. I just felt more comfortable with a girl for my first one. BUT... I am very excited for how much fun having a little guy around will be. As long as he is healthy thats all we ask.

We also bought our first home! Brandon and I have been moved in since the first of the month and we love it!!! We have a HUGE backyard, which now I can't wait for a dog. Hopefully before the baby gets here if I can talk the hubbs into it.

CAMPING SEASON!!!

Well not really, but we went anyway!!! It was really cold at night but the next day was a perfect day for FiShiNg!!! Bran and I signed up to help out at the Ogden Marathon... well we signed up for the starting line.... which meant.... we had to be there at 4 a.m.! So anybody who knows me knows that that right there is a nightmare waiting to happen!! So I made a deal with the hubbs that I would go if we could camp by the starting line and shave off about a hour of awake time.. So with the intent of being good citizens and helping all the people who are out of their minds to pay to run 26 miles, we dusted off all our camping gear and heading up the mountain Friday night... Well I'm embarrassed to say, WE STILL OVERSLEPT!!! I'm sorry all the motivated runners if being 2 lazy volunteers short messed up your start line!! I hope it wasn't too big of a deal and they had plenty of help up there!

But we still had a lot of fun camping and fishing in the next day! Enjoy the pics!!

RaCe FoR ThE cUrE!!!

Me and a couple of friends went and ran the 5k for the Susan Komen race for the cure. I used to go every year but I missed the past couple years, so it was fun to be back. Its crazy to see how many people come and support this great event. Its also really sad to see how many people are running in memory of a loved one. It was also fun to see some of the people who get all decked out in pink!!

ha ha, these were some kids who got all excited for us to take their pictures!We had to take their picture a couple of times because therewas always 1 kid who would say "wait I wasn't in it, take another!"

Ha! what a dork I am!!

I didn't take any pictures, but I also went to the live green festival after the 5k. It was pretty fun and since I get into the whole natural and "green" stuff, they had some pretty neat boothes. I also tried a vegan brawt with some vegan mayo and a vegan beer!! I didn't know they had so much vegan stuff. The festival was outside at the Salt lake library, where they also had the Anne Frank exhibit, which was pretty neat also!

Brandon's Birthday!!

I wish I had more pictures. We went out to dinner at a really yummy and fun place called Cucina Toscana and I forgot to take any pictures, but here are pictures of Brandon opening his gift. I got him some new boots he's been wanting and a massage from my spa. Hope you had a good birthday Bran!

Along for the ride...

I found this picture and just loved it. It's so true. Its hard to think this way sometimes when your on the "bump", but it is something I am going to try to remember for the future. Our journey in life is full of bumps and sometimes its hard to see what will be on the other side of the bump, but after going through struggles you always look back and can say you learned something or it made you a stronger/better person. And I do believe it happened for a reason whether you know the reason or not, there was a purpose.

I think I will be taking the day off work... I think I'll go see the show, then be inspired to do some shopping, maybe a pedicure, go out for cocktails with the girls or who knows maybe I'll just take a trip to New York!!! If anyone is interested in coming with me...
